Overview
We’re currently supporting a growing consulting organisation that is investing heavily in the modernisation of its digital platforms and internal product ecosystem.
This is a highly collaborative engineering environment where developers are expected to contribute across the full stack rather than operate in siloed front-end or back-end functions.
The Role
We're looking for an experienced Product Owner to lead the evolution of a business-critical enterprise platform. Working closely with engineering, architecture, and business stakeholders, you'll own the product roadmap from discovery through to delivery and live operation, ensuring solutions are technically robust, scalable, and aligned with modern cloud-first engineering principles.
This is an opportunity to join a collaborative technology team responsible for developing and enhancing in-house software that supports core business operations within a regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of a dedicated development team, acting as the link between business stakeholders, engineering teams, and technical leadership.
- Own the product lifecycle from discovery and prioritisation through to delivery, release, and continuous improvement.
- Manage and prioritise the product backlog, ensuring development activity is aligned with business objectives and customer needs.
- Work closely with engineers to shape technical solutions, challenge approaches where required, and ensure delivery of scalable, maintainable products.
- Provide technical product leadership across Azure-native solutions, ensuring designs align with cloud-first, serverless, API-first, and event-driven principles.
- Support the evolution and modernisation of existing platforms, helping teams deliver robust solutions while reducing technical debt.
- Drive Agile delivery practices, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, delivery tracking, and release management.
- Ensure solutions meet functional and non-functional requirements, including security, scalability, resilience, performance, and operational support.
- Collaborate with business SMEs, operational teams, and compliance stakeholders to translate complex requirements into clear delivery outcomes.
- Champion continuous improvement across product, engineering, and delivery processes.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
