Public Sector Product Owner - Mobile App Development
Our client is in the Public Sector and is looking to grow the team with a brand new role, a Product Owner with a focus on Mobile App Development. You will be responsible for their newly created Mobile App and influence and shape its future. This role is once a week in London and the rest working from home.

Description
- Responsibility for Mobile App: You will be responsible for their newly created mobile app - you will have the creative freedom to push boundaries of what the app can achieve
- Product Backlog Management: Define and prioritise the product backlog to ensure alignment with organisational objectives.
- Product Roadmap Management: Define and manage the mobile product roadmap, working closely with other product owners, service designers, and marketing.
- Collaboration: Work with the dedicated development 3rd party.
- Prioritisation: Prioritise improvements and developments that deliver value and enable us to continually evolve the mobile experience.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and refine product requirements.
- Cross-functional Teamwork: Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality technology solutions.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor product performance and implement improvements based on feedback.
- Sprint Planning: Facilitate sprint planning sessions and ensure timely delivery of milestones.
- Communication: Communicate product vision and roadmap to stakeholders and teams.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with public sector standards and regulations in all product developments.
- User Focus: Maintain a focus on user needs to enhance the overall product experience.

Must haves:
- Background in digital product ownership or digital experience design - with a strong focus on mobile apps
- Proven experience of shaping, launching and scaling mobile apps
- Regulated Financial Services Background, or Pensions or Public Sector with Governance or Regulated Sector
- Experience working with Service Design
Nice to haves:
- Hands-on experience with analytics, A/B testing, and content optimisation tools (Contentsquare, Google Analytics, Kameleoon, etc.)
- Deep understanding of web accessibility standards e.g. WCAG 2.1 AA
