Job Description:

Product Owner – Strategic Accounts

The Role:

Gladstone is seeking a Product Owner – Strategic Accounts to join our experienced Product team. This role extends beyond traditional product ownership, combining delivery leadership with strategic customer partnership.

You will act as the primary link between a key strategic customer and Gladstone’s development teams, leading a dedicated, customer-funded workstream. Your focus is to ensure that development is shaped, prioritised, and delivered in a way that meets the customer’s goals while also strengthening the wider Gladstone product.

Working closely with senior stakeholders on the customer side, you will build trusted relationships, provide clear direction, and guide decision-making. While the customer will play an active role in prioritisation, you will bring structure, challenge, and insight—ensuring that investment delivers meaningful outcomes and long-term value.

Internally, you will lead agile delivery across Gladstone’s leisure management solution, translating requirements into actionable development items, and working closely with engineering teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and drive a dedicated product workstream for a strategic account, aligning customer priorities with Gladstone’s product vision
  • Act as the primary conduit between the customer and development team, ensuring clear communication and shared understanding
  • Build strong relationships with senior customer stakeholders, influencing decision-making and shaping their product roadmap
  • Lead backlog ownership, prioritisation, and requirements definition, ensuring development is clear, actionable, and outcome-focused
  • Balance customer-specific requirements with the needs of the wider user base, identifying opportunities to deliver scalable, reusable solutions
  • Champion user experience, ensuring solutions are simple, intuitive, and support self-service for end users
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including development, design, sales, and support to deliver initiatives end-to-end
  • Act as the ‘voice of the customer’ within R&D, while also representing Gladstone’s product strategy back to the customer
  • Provide clear updates and insight to both internal leadership and customer stakeholders on progress, priorities, and outcomes

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
