You’ll continually identify opportunities to digitise, improve and manage the customer experience so that it's effortless and delivers value to our customers

What you'll do
Through your role as a Product Owner, you’ll drive and deliver a prioritised journey backlog to improve the service we deliver to our customers, identifying opportunities and providing your expertise.

- Monitoring relevant competitor activity across the product portfolio and actively identifying responses to market changes
- Leading third party tender, contract and commercial negotiations on behalf of the product business area
- Undertaking partnership scouting and relationship development with non-contracted partners
- Identifying and assessing future opportunities for innovation and business value
- Striving to deliver a world-class customer experience and placing the customer at the heart of all we do
- Making empowered decisions to deliver the prioritised digital journey backlog
The skills you'll need
You’ll be a subject matter expert in Retail banking, financial performance and customer service. You’ll have excellent knowledge of critical Agile capabilities and ways of working, as well as the ability to exercise change, commercial management and analytics.

We’ll Also Expect
- Significant leadership experience, working with external partners to deliver customer service improvements and business value
- Strong experience of procurement, contract negotiations, planning and execution
- The ability to assess and triangulate customer benefits, with bank value alongside intelligent risk taking
- People leadership experience of direct line management and coaching
- The ability to identify and envision what the future of digital banking could look like
- A proven ability to adapt to quickly changing environments
- A talented communicator who can inspire and engage both customers and colleagues
