About the Role
Are you a Product Owner who thrives on transforming disorderly priorities into clear, well-executed outcomes? Do you enjoy working at a scales company that guides over 40,000 adventurers annually through walking and cycling experiences worldwide? Macs Adventure is seeking someone as passionate about active travel as you are about delivering executable roadmaps.
In this role, you’ll shape and steer both internal back-office systems and the back-office replatforming programme for Macs’ fledgling late development. You’ll bridge Operations, Sales, and Customer Service with our third-party development partner, ensuring the right solutions are built, first, and to the highest possible standards.
Kickstart your impact:
- Own the backstage: Manage every aspect of prioritisation, delivery, and redesign for an action-focused business.
- Real authority: Lead demand capture and replatforming, driving continuous improvement across our Agile/Tribe structure.
- Agile leadership: Work alongside a fast-growing team – from documenting requirements to enabling Zendoodjereast delivery through consistency and trust.
About Macs Adventure
As the world’s leading brand for self-guided adventure travel, we connect ~40,000 guests a year across 60+ destinations. Our team of 150+ people across the UK, USA, and Germany lives by an exciting directive: #MacsMoments – changing how people experience travel, humankind, and the environment.
Our culture? Forward-thinking, fun, and unafraid of the unfamiliar. It’s just like our destinations. We idolise internal growth and, crucially, diversity – we want to work with and for a wide array of fields and ideas.
Key values we tread by:
- Love the journey; take the path less travelled: Whether planning your first network hop or choosing to take on a full replatform, gain isn’t passive. We can mess up. We move ahead.
- Tread thoughtfully (to ourselves, our customers, our planet): We collaborate, support local suppliers, and walk beyond we think is possible.
- Go the extra mile: Our legacy is in deliverables like simplicity and trust. Your work? Tackle tough problems like a mission climate change coach.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
