Your future, as a Product and Portfolio Manager at mydentist

You’ll be joining our Tech and Transformation Team within our Support Centre (M26 1GG)

This role is full time and permanent

Hybrid working arrangements

Supportive and experienced team

Travel to different sites across the UK is required

Your future, your role

As a Product and Portfolio Manager, you’ll be:

  • Maintaining and flexing a portfolio of digital healthcare products that will deliver the business benefits
  • Managing medical technologies including: Xray AI, Lab Software, CBCT scanners, OPG, CEPH, Microscopes
  • Structuring, planning and sequencing the technical projects in line with business objectives and other strategic pillars
  • Identifying and facilitating the prioritisation of options and decisions; communicating complex scenarios and financials in a way that enables senior leaders to make decisions
  • Providing reports on status and prognosis, as required by line manager and senior leadership team
  • Managing a wide variety of stakeholders, including senior leadership and business change teams
  • Maintaining close working relationship with both the field and the finance team, to understand the financials on all scanners within the portfolio

Experience:

  • Previous experience of managing a portfolio of projects
  • 5 years plus management experience
  • Hardware product management experience in healthcare with multi-site experience is essential
  • Demonstrable experience of managing budgets and planning, monitoring and reporting on project progress
  • Previous experience working in dental industry, particularly labs or dental supply chain preferred but not essential

Skills

  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with a proven ability to influence, negotiate and manage potential conflict effectively
  • Customer service oriented, with excellent communication skills
  • Able to detect and resolve problems
  • Ability to use MS Excel and PowerPoint at advanced level
  • Enjoy being part of a team that’s passionate about supporting our practices and ultimately helping the nation smile.
