Role Overview

Primary Function

As a member of the UK & Ireland Marketing team, your role as Product Portfolio & Digital Marketing Manager focuses on:

  • Leading marketing strategies, tactics, and execution for Intuitive’s Product and Digital portfolios
    • Da Vinci systems
    • Advanced Technologies
    • Instruments and Accessories
    • Digital Solutions (Intuitive Hub, My Intuitive, SIMNOW)
  • Developing value messaging
  • Scaling success for existing and newly launched products
  • Accelerating product and digital portfolio adoption across the UK and Ireland
  • Collaborating with UK, EU marketing, sales, and ecosystem functions to drive utilization in targeted surgical procedures

With excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, you’ll thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Roles and Responsibilities

Product Portfolio Strategy

  • Build and leverage product management skillsets to oversee:
    • Da Vinci Systems
    • Advanced Technology
    • Instruments & Accessors (I&A)
    • Digital portfolio integrations

Go-to-Market Execution

  • Coordinate launch strategies collaboratively with:
    • Clinical Marketing
    • Sales leadership
    • Training teams
  • Create product roadmaps for multiple surgical specialties

Leadership and Implementation

  • Integrate digital portfolio adoption into commercial teams
  • Create clinical-economic value messages through case studies
  • Craft marketing collateral that articulates the value proposition of Intuitive’s technologies
  • Engage key customers, driving adoption of da Vinci systems, Advanced Technologies, and digital solutions
  • Establish reference story tools to analyze portfolio and competitive landscape—collaborate with Sales Operations

Key Opinion Leader Management

  • Identify and scale best practices through KOLs and Field Sales teams
  • Reduce regional adoption disparities with localized insights and strategies

Product Champion Advancement

  • Develop Product Champions for both legacy and newly launched products
  • Partner with Sigma Clinical Marketing on goal and performance alignment
  • Support and mentor future roles within the product portfolio

Stakeholder Integration

  • Work alongside KOLs and European Product Marketing to refine localized value propositions
  • Collaborate across teams to promote technology adoption through:
    • Conferences and tradeshows
    • Executive Education Events
    • Market Development Events
    • Key Customer events
  • Deliver test-drives, presentations, and product demonstrations
  • Work on energy and stapling product lines to expand sales support

Surgeon Relationship Development

  • Attend cases to reinforce procedural expertise
  • Strengthen partnerships with Regional and EU Marketing to drive familiarity and retention

Qualifications

Required Knowledge and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or business (preferred: Chartered Institute of Marketing or Advanced Diploma)
  • 8+ years of experience in medical devices or therapeutics industry
  • 4+ years of specialized Clinical/Product Marketing experience in healthcare
  • Strong go-to-market skills:
    • Experience crafting value messages for product launches
    • Demonstrated product positioning, messaging & adoption strategies
  • Creative problem-solving, adaptability, and ability to manage competing priorities
  • Strong commercial acumen in driving product adoption
  • Self-drive, resilient, and proactive in high-growth markets
  • Excellent English communication (spoken and written)
  • Strong inter-personal and project-management skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite
  • Travel readiness:
    • 20-30% domestic UK-Ireland travel
    • Open to international travel on an ad-hoc basis

  • Role based in Winnersh with office availability: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
