Driving Quality Right First Time - For Customers, For Production, For Performance.
This is a great opportunity to take the next step in your career as a Product Quality Engineer who will be responsible for enabling production to maintain and improve quality, cost & delivery performance through Quality support and approval of standard operating procedures.
Some of the Main Responsibilities Include:
- Owning product quality
- Interacting with and liaising with customers
- Publishing and monitoring yield performance in line with agreed KPI’s
- Quality lead for contract reviews / production readiness reviews / build reviews
- Reviewing concessions / emails / engineering change notes ensuring compliance to procedures prior to job hold release to production
- Approving Standard Operating Procedures, suitability of jigs and visual inspection aids
- Verifying and approving changes to process
- Utilising Lean Manufacturing techniques and quality tools
- Leading quality improvement activities
- Performing yield analysis and identifying/leading CI projects

Requirements:
We are seeking a candidate with a degree or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline with PCBA experience.
Job Details:
This role is a full-time permanent contract, working 4.5 days per week, and is based at our site in Hook, Hampshire.
