Are you an experienced Product Security Engineer looking to work on complex, cutting-edge engineering programmes where cyber security is designed into products from day one?
We're recruiting on behalf of an innovative UK engineering organisation delivering advanced technology solutions into highly regulated environments. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative engineering team where you'll influence product security throughout the full development lifecycle.
Working alongside Engineering, Software, Systems and Supportability teams, you'll ensure security is embedded into products using Secure by Design principles.

Responsibilities
- Conduct Product Security Risk Assessments
- Produce and maintain Information Assurance documentation
- Deliver Secure by Design (SbD) activities
- Produce RMADS and associated security artefacts
- Develop Product Security policies and procedures
- Work with engineering teams throughout the product lifecycle
- Participate in customer security reviews
- Support bids with security estimates
- Ensure projects meet security accreditation requirements
Essential Experience
We're interested in people with experience in some or most of the following:
- Product Security Engineering
- Information Assurance (IA)
- Information Security (IS)
- Secure by Design (SbD)
- RMADS documentation
- Security Risk Assessments
- NCSC methodologies
- NIST 800 series
- Cyber Security within engineering projects
- Security Assurance

Desirable
Experience with any of the following would be advantageous:
- DevSecOps
- Defence Standards
- JSP440
- Def Stan 05-138 / 05-139
- TEMPEST
- EMC
- Defence, Aerospace, Maritime or Government projects
Security Requirements
Due to the nature of the work applicants must:
- Hold only UK citizenship (sole UK passport holder)
- Be eligible to obtain UK SC Security Clearance
