🧠 The role

As a Software/Product Engineer at Tandem, you’ll be at the heart of our product. You’ll be working on everything from our mobile apps to our backend services, turning ideas into reality. This isn’t just about writing code; it’s about taking ownership of features from start to finish. You’ll be involved in the entire product lifecycle, from brainstorming and design to deployment and iteration. We want someone who is passionate about creating amazing user experiences and isn't afraid to get their hands dirty in a fast-paced startup environment.


💼 What you’ll Do

  • Working across our tech stack to build new features for our iOS, Android, and web apps.
  • Collaborating with the team to design and implement new product features.
  • Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code in Rust for our backend services.
  • Building and maintaining our CI/CD pipelines to ensure we can ship features quickly and reliably.
  • Taking part in product discussions and bringing your own ideas to the table.
  • Being a key player in a small, tight-knit team of awesome people.

You have experience with our tech stack. You don't need to be an expert in everything, but you should be comfortable with some of the following:

  • Frontend: React (NextJS), iOS (SwiftUI), Android (Jetpack Compose)
  • Backend: Rust, Tokio, Axum, gRPC, Tonic
  • Databases: ScyllaDB, DragonflyDB, AWS S3
