About the Role
ThousandEyes is seeking a Product Solutions Architect to develop and communicate best practice technical solutions that address a wide range of customer challenges. This role will support successful go-to-market adoption of ThousandEyes products by:
- Serving as a subject matter expert on ThousandEyes use cases and practical solutions.
- Creating technical solutions materials that educate users and stakeholders on optimizing deployment and maximizing product value.
Your Impact
- Ownership and Influence: Has technical ownership over a product or solution and influences product improvement plans.
- Strategic Insight: Understands and articulates business challenges and opportunities for assigned products or solutions.
- Industry Awareness: Monitors and integrates industry changes and findings to enhance customer benefits.
- Recommendations & Collaboration:
- Provides functionality improvement recommendations based on feedback.
- Contributes to product architectural documentation (in collaboration with product teams).
- CustomerEngagement: Leads complex technical discussions with customers, partners, and internal teams to demonstrate new technologies.
- Stakeholder Outreach: May present value propositions to customers, partners, and internal teams (e.g., CX partners, Field, Sales Enablement, Engineering).
- Competitive Analysis: Researches and analyzes technology findings to articulate differentiation.
- Reporting & Documentation:
- Creates technical reports (e.g., hardware product breakdowns) for internal communication.
- Guides the development of field/customer-facing technical collateral, including:
- White papers
- Deployment guides
- Methodology documents
- for new products and technology releases.

Minimum Qualifications
- Expertise & Experience:
- Deep networking domain knowledge with a strong portfolio.
- 10+ years in roles such as Technical Marketing Engineer (TME), Systems Engineering (SE), or comparable customer-facing experience.
- Extensive customer and field experience, ideally spanning both enterprises and service providers.
- Proven ability to build demos and create technical content, such as best practice guides and reference architectures.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Computer Science or Engineering).
- Certifications:
- Industry-recognized certifications including (but not limited to):
- CCNA, CCNP, CCIE
- CloudOps, DevOps, automation frameworks
- Industry-recognized certifications including (but not limited to):

Preferred Qualifications
- Communication & Leadership:
- Exceptional verbal and written skills with confidence in presenting and defending ideas.
- Customer-focused mindset, driven by initiative and energy, comfortable in dynamic, global teams.
- Technical Versatility:
- Familiarity with Python or other programming languages is a plus.
