Product Specialist
Who we’re looking for
Product Specialist Wealth Management
You will be asked to be one of the leaders in communicating the Schroders Wealth Management multi asset investment process as a product specialist. You will use your extensive knowledge of investment strategy and selection to direct and lead the communication of the firms’ investment strategy and offering both internally as well as externally to the firms’ clients. You will be involved in the continuing innovation of the firm’s investment offering.

The team
We are one of the largest UK-based wealth management firm, headquartered in London but with offices around the country. We help private clients, families, charities and some institutions meet their long term goals by offering our expertise in investment, wealth planning, lending and family office services. We draw on the resources of the Schroders group, as well as having our own in house investment team.

What you’ll do
- Leads the engagement with portfolio managers to ensure key investment messages are communicated widely to the business and clients
- Attends external client meetings or events as an investment specialist, with the ability to speak broadly about key aspects of the investment offering and process at Schroders Wealth as well as key investment views eloquently, providing a more specific level of detail where necessary
- Leads the preparation and communication of sections of presentations and materials to internal and external audiences
- Directs the collaboration with the wider Schroders Group on investment communications as a representative of Wealth, including across different investment divisions, regional and global entities.
- Contributes to the continued evolution of the investment proposition within Schroders Wealth as a senior member of the team, using feedback from other members of the investment team, portfolio managers and clients
- Contributes to research efforts underpinning the investment strategy of Schroders’ Wealth Management based on your relevant areas of expertise.
The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need
- Educated to degree level or equivalent
- At least 5 years of relevant experience working in investments or within the financial industry is desirable;
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc)
- Experience of investment databases (e.g. Refinitiv, Lipper) and AI tools are desirable but not essential.
- Relevant investment qualifications (e.g. IMC, CAIA, CFA) are desirable but not essential
