Finning (UK) Ltd – Permanent Position


Position Overview

Finning is the world’s largest Caterpillar dealer. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional customer experiences and innovative solutions. We are seeking a commercially driven and customer-focused Product Support Account Manager to join our team within the Electric Power Standby sector.


Key Responsibilities

The Product Support Account Manager is responsible for maximising revenue and profitability across parts and service sales through the strategic management and development of new and existing customer portfolios. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will play a vital role in:

  • Driving sales growth and strengthening customer relationships in the aftermarket
  • Identifying and converting new business opportunities, including lapsed accounts and campaign-driven leads
  • Developing long-term Customer Value Agreements (CVAs) with key and high-potential customers
  • Maintaining accurate customer pipelines using CRM tools (e.g., FST) and ensuring data integrity
  • Delivering structured call planning (weekly, monthly, quarterly checks)
  • Submitting timely monthly activity reports and achieving sales forecast targets
  • Serving as the primary contact for customers while proactively resolving complaints/disputes
  • Collaborating across internal teams to maximise revenue from both aftermarket and new equipment
  • Mentoring colleagues and sharing best practice
  • Monitoring competitor activity and market trends while feeding insights into the business

Essential Requirements

  • 2–3 years’ experience in B2B sales, preferably in product support, engineering, or heavy equipment
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue and margin targets
  • Ability to build and manage strong customer relationships, including high-value accounts
  • Sharp negotiation and communication skills
  • Strong analytical ability to interpret technical and operational data
  • Highly organised, with process-driven pipeline management
  • Capable of cross-functional collaboration within a dynamic business environment
