Job Opportunity: Product Support Engineer

Right now, we need to strengthen our R&D team in Milton Keynes with a Product Support Engineer who will play a key role in maintaining our existing portfolio and ensuring our products remain in production despite the challenges of a changing global landscape.

What you’ll do:

As a Product Support Engineer, you are the guardian of our existing product line. You will handle the intricate challenges that come with long product lifetimes, from identifying alternative components when availability shifts to evaluating updates for new compliance requirements. Your work bridges the gap between initial design and long-term manufacturing, ensuring that Marshall products continue to reach our fans without interruption.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Identify and evaluate technical solutions for issues arising in existing products to ensure proactive upkeep.
  • Collaborate closely with the compliance team to identify and mitigate impacts from upcoming standard changes (Safety, EMC, etc.).
  • Conduct hands-on testing of alternative components and circuit board revisions in accordance with agreed test plans.
  • Modify and improve circuit board designs using CAD tools to address sourcing issues or production improvements (Intake Notes).
  • Coordinate with sourcing and manufacturing teams to specify new components and oversee their implementation in the factory (Intake Notes).
  • Document all work clearly, including technical changes and re-testing results, to maintain high-quality production standards.
  • Free up R&D resources for new prototyping by taking full ownership of the sustaining lifecycle for both analogue and digital products.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
