Purpose of Position

As a Product & Technology Operations Manager, you will drive operational excellence to deliver innovation. With a focus on optimizing workflows, enhancing cross-functional collaboration, and amplifying release communication, you will ensure teams are equipped with the right tools and processes to deliver impactful products efficiently. By sharing compelling progress updates on product and tech deliverables, you'll foster a culture of pride and accomplishment.

Please note this role is a maternity cover, with a fixed-term contract until 31 July 2027.

What you'll be responsible for:

  • Enhance Operational Efficiency: Evaluate and refine processes across the operating model to improve efficiency, collaboration, and scalability.
  • Measure and Improve Ways of Working: Track key indicators of team effectiveness and use them to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Enable Cross-Functional Collaboration: Facilitate workshops, discussions, and collaborative problem-solving sessions to address cross-departmental challenges.
  • Deliver Release Communication: Ensure clear and consistent communication of roadmap updates, release plans, and key initiatives across teams.
  • Support Team Coordination: Act as the central coordination point for internal communication and cross-functional projects within the Product & Technology organisation.
  • Build Ground-Level Relationships: Develop working relationships with team members and stakeholders to understand context and surface issues early.

Your skills:

  • 2+ years of experience in operations, program management, or a related role.
  • Proven track record of driving improvements in ways of working and communication strategies within a global or cross-functional environment.
  • Familiarity with product development lifecycles, especially in SaaS or tech-driven organisations.
  • Experience identifying and implementing process improvements within a team or operating model.
  • Some exposure to coaching or mentoring others on best practices.
  • Operational Excellence: Demonstrated ability to streamline workflows and implement scalable processes.
  • Ability to spot patterns and connect dots across teams and processes, rather than treating issues in isolation.
  • Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to diverse audiences and articulate complex concepts clearly.
  • Strong facilitation skills with the ability to lead discussions, workshops, and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Proficiency in using data and analytics to inform and optimize processes.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
