Product Trainer & Consumer Care Specialist

Location: Manchester (4 days onsite)
Salary: £32,500
Contract: Permanent

We're recruiting on behalf of an innovative FMCG business seeking a Product Trainer & Consumer Care Specialist to become the technical expert behind its growing product portfolio.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a background in Research & Development (R&D), Product Development, Chemistry or a technical consumer products environment who enjoys working with people and wants to use their expertise in a more varied, customer-facing role.

You'll bridge the gap between product innovation and the customer experience, delivering engaging product training, supporting consumers, collaborating with retailers and feeding valuable insights back to the business to influence future product development.

The Role

As Product Trainer & Consumer Care Specialist, you will:

  • Become the subject matter expert across the company's product portfolio.
  • Deliver engaging product training to internal teams, retailers and external partners.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations, both in person and virtually.
  • Respond to consumer enquiries, providing practical product advice and technical support.
  • Create training materials, product guides and educational content.
  • Build strong relationships with retailers, distributors and customers to improve product understanding.
  • Develop and support an online customer community where users can access expert advice and share experiences.
  • Work closely with the Research & Development and wider commercial teams, ensuring customer feedback helps shape future product improvements and innovation.
  • Support new product launches by communicating product features, benefits and best practice.
  • Keep up to date with new product developments, industry trends and technical knowledge.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
