Summary
The Product Training Specialist is a dedicated position based in the United Kingdom. The Product Training Specialist is responsible for facilitating product training to drive continuous, sustainable learning for Benjamin Moore's sales force, stockists, and contractors in the UK and EU. This role works with key stakeholders’ to deliver product information and application properties for continued business success. We are committed to developing this professional into a business contributor who can deliver high-quality results.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the sales team and BMUK leaders to plan, build, & implement customized training programs for target stockist and end-user customers
- Conducts “Train the Trainer” sessions for sales reps so they can deliver and reinforce product training for stockists and end-users
- Maintain regular communication with sales leadership to ensure alignment on training plan(s) and execution.
- Provides product support for sales and marketing events, or tradeshows.
- Acts as a liaison between the product marketing team and R&D to test new products.
- Training facilitation through a positive learning environment and group activities
- Facilitate learning and development programs for Benjamin Moore sales representatives, stockists and end-users in subjects including, product knowledge, product application, and complaint handling best practices
- Monitor outcomes and effectiveness of training business plans and contributing activities
- Assist the sales team with complaint resolution by lending technical support
- Work collaboratively with the US-based transformation & development team to leverage existing content and training tools
- Builds and/or tailors existing US or Canadian training programs to meet UK customer needs.
- Collaborate as part of cross-functional teams to explore change management initiatives and growth programs for new product launches
- Utilize available systems & technology to facilitate improved reporting and communication with internal customers

Qualifications
Required Skills & Desired Knowledge:
- BA/BSc University degree preferred, or equivalent industry business experience
- Minimum of 5 years' work experience in Sales or Training
- Excellent product application skills, including experience in spray
- Fluent in English with additional European language an advantage.
- Demonstrate strong facilitation and training delivery skills in various formats
- Demonstrate ability to learn and deliver technical content
- Excellent oral, written communication and group presentation skills
- Strong capability to plan, develop and facilitate live and virtual training
- Ability to conduct training needs assessments
- Consultative, planning, and organizational skills
- Passion for continuous learning
- Strong analytical skills to identify and troubleshoot user issues during training
- Ability to adjust training strategies based on user feedback and changing project requirements
- Demonstrated flexibility for changing priorities while demonstrating a sense of urgency
- Excellent PC (MS Office, PowerPoint, etc.) and strong presentation skills
- Ability to travel 50% (3 to 4 days a week to various locations)
- Ability to work evenings and weekends when necessary
- Conduct the physical setup and execution of paint demonstrations
- Maintains a professional demeanor and appearance at all times
