Credit Product Controller
A growing global hedge fund is looking for a Credit Product Controller to join their Fund Finance team. This is a chance to work somewhere that's invested in building a strong operations culture, and be part of a tight team where the focus is on generating real insights and adding value, not just producing reports.
You'll report to the Head of Fund Finance and work primarily on credit-focused valuations and P&L management. Day-to-day, that means owning the independent price verification process for the credit product lines, working closely with the front office and a network of outsourced pricing providers to understand what's moving in the market and why. You'll also be responsible for preparing the daily flash P&L reports that go to senior management. The team has intentionally built out efficient reconciliation workflows, which means less time fighting with data and more time on the kind of analytical value-add work for example, improving processes, and contributing to how the fund thinks about its portfolio.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
