My client – a world-renowned TV/Film business based near ANGEL STATION is seeking a PRODUCTION ACCOUNTANT to join them whilst they experience unprecedented growth! This role is working on one exciting new film and TV productions!
PLEASE NOTE – This role is based in the office for 3 out of 5 days
The ideal candidate will already be working in a production business specifically factual/non-scripted!
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Suppliers and crew invoices processing and payments, and the implementation of these costs into project reporting
- Preparation of variance analysis of monthly actuals vs forecast and budget
- Bank and balance sheet accounts reconciliations
- Short and long-range cashflow preparation, variance analysis and adjustments
- Support in cost reporting package preparation

You will also in the medium term support the FM with:
- Internal recharges
- Payroll & pensions management
- VAT returns and PAYE payments
- Tax credit reporting and analysis
- Year-end audit
- Long-range planning and budgeting
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED
- Positive, “can do” attitude with the desire to take ownership of assigned tasks and projects.
- A sense of pride in maintaining a clean and accurate set of financial records.
- Confidence to interact with all staff across the finance team and the wider business.
- Flair for evaluating problems and proposing solutions independently.
- Possess a natural curiosity and ability to quickly pick-up new tasks whilst working autonomously.
- Good communicator, ability to build relationships with key stakeholders.
- Well organised, with the ability to keep to strict deadlines in a face paced and high growth environment
