Production Admin (ERP system)

£15.00 - £16.00 per hour | Full-time | Temporary (3-Month Contract) | Ilminster

Role Overview

An immediate opportunity has arisen for a Production Admin to join a busy operations team on a three-month temporary contract. Supporting both Production Planning and Dispatch, you'll play a key role in ensuring products move efficiently through the manufacturing process and are delivered to customers on time. This varied position would suit an organised administrator who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in accuracy, communication, and delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate production documentation, including issuing and releasing job cards to support manufacturing schedules.
  • Prepare dispatch paperwork, invoices, customs documentation, and arrange courier collections for UK and international shipments.
  • Respond to customer shipment enquiries, providing accurate tracking information and delivery updates.
  • Work closely with production, planning, and stores teams to help achieve on-time delivery targets.

Requirements

  • Previous administration experience within a manufacturing, production, logistics, or customer-focused environment.
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritise a varied workload.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience using ERP systems such as Syspro or similar.
  • GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent) with confident communication skills and a proactive approach to teamwork.
