Production Administrator

Location: Chertsey, Surrey
Department: Production
Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Role

We are looking for an organised and detail-oriented Production Administrator to support our manufacturing team. You will ensure production records are accurate, coordinate daily administrative tasks, and help keep production running efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Production team with daily administrative tasks.
  • Prepare and maintain production documentation and records.
  • Update production schedules and job trackers.
  • Enter production data accurately into company systems.
  • Print and prepare production paperwork, labels, and work orders.
  • Monitor material availability and report shortages.
  • Coordinate with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and Stores teams.
  • Maintain filing systems and ensure documents are up to date.
  • Assist with stock counts and inventory records.
  • Support continuous improvement and process compliance activities.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in an administrative or production support role is preferred.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Experience using ERP/MRP systems is an advantage but not essential.
  • Must be able to reliably commute to our Chertsey site or plan to relocate before starting work.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
