The role
In this role as a Production Assistant, you will play a crucial role in managing various administrative tasks related to Production, ensuring that production schedules are adhered to, orders are in place, and all administrative tasks are completed efficiently. This role is key in supporting the production team and contributing to the smooth adherence to the company's CP.
Requirements
- Experience: 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in textiles or leather fashion accessories
- Education: A degree or diploma in Business Administration, Production Management, or a related field is preferred
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word)
- Experience with production planning software is a plus
- Knowledge of the product lifecycle in an ERP system would be a plus
- Soft Skills:
- Good communication skills, able to effectively share information with the team in a clear & concise way
- Demonstrated ability to operate at pace with flexibility, initiative, and solution-oriented
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Independent and structured way of working, able to prioritise and meet critical deadlines
- A keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in production tracking and material management
- Analytical person with experience with large volumes of data entry, great attention to detail and accuracy, even when working at speed
- Ability to work collaboratively with various departments and adapt to a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude & strong team player
- Spoken Spanish or Italian would be desirable

FG production & Inspection Planning
- Update FG inspection Plan with units, date of inspection and inspector
- Booking the QC with inspectors and follow-up confirmation
- Create the QC report and share it with the inspector (Google Drive)
- Follow up with inspectors to ensure they share the reports on time
- Save and label the reports on Dropbox
- Forward the reports to each factory and highlight the issues raised during QC
- Inform the FG exec if any QC issue is critical or needs extra attention
- Compile the Excel file at the end of the week and cross-check all units/SKU planned and highlight if something is not matching (units not presented for inspection, PO not completed, PO not planned for that week of QC, etc)
- Cross-check the inspected units against the packing list to make sure units that weren't approved by DM QC are not shipped
- Support creating WO and PO
- Amendments of WO and PO, including the request for the removal of approval and inform when the PO is ready to be approved again
- Bulk issue to kit and follow up with the RM team if the RM missing for them to investigate/resolve
- Provide assistance with creating CF BOMs
- Support amending CF consumptions/updating rm
- Assist with creating a seasonal price list
- Participate in updating the price list once confirmed
- Facilitate in running pre-buy cross checks
- Update reports in FG seasonal trackers
- Monthly cross-check of the FG open POs and manually close orders that won't be fulfilled
- Archive production FG shipped to the office
- Organise FG-related shipments, supporting also industrialization team
