Raytheon UK has exciting new 12-month FTC opportunities for Production Associate(s) to join our team in Glenrothes.

As a Production Associate, you will work within an electronics manufacturing facility, with potential requirement to travel to the alternative site (Livingston) when needed.

We are able to offer a position where you will get full training to be able to be successful within the role, your first few weeks will be part of a training programme to provide you with the necessary knowledge and skills.

You must be eligible and willing to gain BPSS clearance.

Responsibilities:

  • soldering and inspection to ANSI-J STD/IPC610
  • mechanical and wiring assembly
  • kit preparation
  • bonding and coating
  • testing of assemblies and sub-assemblies using specialised equipment

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum of two standard grades at C/3 pass or above, or previous electronics or mechanical assembly experience
  • Good manual dexterity
  • Basic PC skills
  • Quality focused, a high emphasis on the importance of quality to the customer
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a team

Desirable Skills & Experience:

  • Previous electronics and mechanical assembly experience
  • Good communication skills
  • Organisational skills
