What You Will Enjoy Doing

  • You will produce high-accuracy calibration gases and reference materials using gravimetric methods in line with ISO 6142 and accredited quality standards under ISO 17034
  • Manufacture oxygen and flammable gas mixtures safely and consistently by following defined operating procedures
  • Prepare cylinders for filling through painting, valve fitting, treatment, and evacuation to ensure quality and readiness
  • Collaborate with the Production Manager to manage ordering and stock control of cylinders and source gases while supporting wider operational needs
  • Support site logistics through forklift movements and coordination of cylinder transfers between locations

What Makes You Great

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, required for dealing on a regular one-to-one basis with members of your team and other stakeholders
  • Sound organisational ability with the capacity to work individually or within the team
  • IT literate and adaptable to using bespoke software systems, Microsoft Word and Excel, and database software
  • Extensive experience in the handling of gas cylinders, vacuum equipment, laboratory high pressure gas control equipment, high precision balances, and high pressure gases
