About The Job

Games Workshop has an exciting opportunity for a Production Controller to join our Black Library team, where you will play a critical role in supporting our creatives by devising and overseeing plans to deliver our physical and digital products on-time and to the right specifications.

Solution-focused and adaptable, you will use software to create schedules of work for around 50 studio colleagues, and lead regular in-person catch-up meetings with all to affirm progress towards upcoming deadlines. Your delivery plans should always reflect real-time reality, and your communication around changes will need to be proactive and clear so that stakeholders in the wider business can easily understand and stay in sync. You will also be responsible for managing short and long term capacity by regularly forecasting demand on team resources and communicating and escalating risks to key colleagues.

Additionally, you will leverage your knowledge of book publishing to turn graphic design briefs into print specifications, and work closely with our Buying Team to achieve timely tendering of all physical products.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
