We’re working with an innovative UK manufacturing business that’s experiencing continued growth and is looking for a Production and Operations Coordinator to become a key member of its Operations Team.
This is far more than a traditional administration role. You’ll be the central point connecting production, suppliers, logistics, sales, and customers, ensuring products are manufactured, processed, and delivered on time while maintaining exceptional service standards.

From coordinating production schedules and managing customer orders through to supporting continuous improvement projects and export documentation, you’ll be involved in every stage of the operational process.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Coordinate daily production schedules to ensure customer orders are delivered on time and in full, using SAGE MRP System
- Work closely with production, purchasing, logistics, and sales teams to maintain an efficient operational flow
- Liaise with suppliers and contractors to ensure materials and services are available when required
- Monitor project timelines, identifying and resolving potential delays before they impact delivery
- Support inventory management and stock control activities
- Process customer sales orders from receipt through to despatch, ensuring accuracy throughout
- Handle customer enquiries professionally, delivering a first-class customer experience
- Produce operational reports, KPI information, and performance data for management
- Coordinate data relating to EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulations
- Prepare export documentation for international shipments
- Help drive continuous improvement initiatives across production and customer service processes
- Ensure operational activities comply with company procedures, quality standards, and Health and Safety requirements
About You
You’ll be someone who enjoys being at the centre of the action, keeping multiple priorities under control while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.

You’ll Ideally Have
- Experience within Production, Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or Project Coordination
- Strong organisational and planning skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
- Excellent communication skills and confidence working with colleagues, suppliers, and customers
- Previous experience processing orders or supporting operational workflows
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Experience using ERP, MRP, or production planning systems
- A proactive mindset with excellent problem-solving ability
- High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
- The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team
