Scopely is looking for a Production Director, Live Operations to join our MONOPOLY GO! game team. This role can be based remotely in the UK or from our Barcelona hub on a hybrid basis.

MONOPOLY GO! is a global phenomenon and the biggest mobile game launch in history, captivating millions of players worldwide.

At Scopely, we care deeply about what we do and want to inspire play every day—whether in our work environments alongside our talented colleagues or through our deep connections with our communities of players. We are a global team of game lovers who are developing, publishing, and innovating the games industry, connecting millions of people around the world daily.

About The Role

As Production Director, Live Operations, you will own the operational health of MONOPOLY GO!'s live game execution. This role oversees the systems, teams, and operational practices that enable the game to ship reliably, perform consistently, and respond quickly to the needs of both players and developers.

You'll lead the production strategy across Live Operations, the LiveOps Calendar, Live Performance, and GameOps Tooling, ensuring the organization can execute thousands of live changes safely while continually improving speed, quality, and operational efficiency.

This is not a role that operates solely from the executive level. We are looking for someone who is equally comfortable defining multi-year operational strategy as they are diving into release schedules, incidents, production bottlenecks, tooling workflows, and execution details. You'll know when to zoom out and shape the future of Live Operations—and when to roll up your sleeves to unblock a launch or improve a production workflow.

What You'll Do

Own Live Operations Excellence

  • Lead production across Live Operations, ensuring reliable execution of live events, promotions, game updates, and operational releases.
  • Own the operational health of the LiveOps organization, balancing execution quality, speed, reliability, scalability, and team effectiveness.
  • Ensure Live Operations consistently delivers outstanding player experiences while minimizing operational risk.

Lead the LiveOps Calendar

  • Own governance of the LiveOps Calendar, ensuring releases are well-planned, coordinated, prioritized, and executable.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment across Product, Design, Engineering, Analytics, Economy Design, QA, Localization, CRM, Marketing, and Community teams.
  • Balance competing priorities while maintaining a sustainable release cadence.

Drive GameOps Tooling Strategy

  • Partner closely with Engineering and technical leadership to define the roadmap for Game Operations tooling.
  • Ensure internal tools improve operational efficiency, reliability, visibility, and automation across the organization.
  • Champion investments that reduce manual work, improve safety, and enable LiveOps teams to scale.

Be Deeply Engaged in Execution

  • Stay close enough to day-to-day execution to understand operational pain points firsthand.
  • Jump into complex launches, critical releases, production escalations, or live incidents when leadership is needed.
  • Review schedules, dependencies, workflows, and operational processes—not to micromanage, but to ensure execution quality and remove systemic obstacles.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
