Production Engineer
Blackpool, onsite working
£43,000 to £48,000 DOE
Mon to Thu 7.30am to 4pm, with an early finish Friday at 12.30pm.
We're working with a well established automotive manufacturer in Blackpool who are expanding and need a Production Engineer. It's a varied role, sitting as the key link between Production and Engineering.

What you'd be doing:
Get help with your application

- Spotting and fixing production bottlenecks
- Introducing new processes and technology
- Running time and method studies
- Creating build instructions and SOPs
- Driving continuous improvement across the line
What we're looking for:
- A solid understanding of production engineering and manufacturing in a hands-on setting (automotive background not essential)
- Experience with assembly, fabrication and electrical/hydraulic components
- Jigs and fixtures experience would be a real bonus
- Around 3 years' experience ideally
- A good grasp of production flow, takt times and line balancing
- HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Solid Edge desirable
