Up to £52,000 DOE | Permanent | Early Finish Every Friday

We're looking for a Production Engineer to join a leading precision engineering manufacturer where you'll play a key role in introducing new products, improving production processes, and solving complex engineering challenges.

This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys making a real impact, working with advanced manufacturing technology, and driving continuous improvement.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Support the introduction of new products into manufacturing (NPI)
  • Improve production processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs
  • Investigate manufacturing issues and lead root cause analysis
  • Support 8D, RMA, and continuous improvement activities
  • Work closely with engineering and production teams to improve manufacturing performance
  • Create and maintain manufacturing documentation, BOMs, and routing information
  • Help ensure products are production-ready while maintaining high quality and safety standards

What We're Looking For

You'll have:

  • Experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment
  • CAD experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience improving manufacturing processes
  • Confident using Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively

Desirable:

  • Degree or HNC in Engineering
  • NPI experience
  • Knowledge of 8D, RMA, BOMs, or production readiness
  • Experience with complex mechanical assemblies
  • Precision engineering or advanced manufacturing experience
