Joiners (Level 5) Opportunity

We are currently seeking qualified Joiners (Level 5) to join Western Building Systems, with opportunities available across our Modular Build and Timber Frame divisions. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a well‑established off‑site construction specialist delivering high‑quality projects across the health, education, commercial and housing sectors.

As a Joiner, you will play a key role in the manufacture, assembly and installation of modular build and timber components, working within our in‑house manufacturing facilities and supporting on‑site installation where required. You will be involved in producing precision‑built elements that form a critical part of our modular and timber frame systems, contributing directly to the quality and efficiency of Western Building Systems’ projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out joinery works within the modular build and timber frame production environments
  • Manufacture and assemble components to drawings and specifications
  • Install and fit joinery elements on site as required
  • Read and interpret technical drawings accurately
  • Operate machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship, quality and attention to detail
  • Work collaboratively with production and site teams to meet programme deadlines
  • Adhere to all health & safety procedures and company policies

About You

  • Experience an advantage; training provided for enthusiastic candidates with a strong desire to work.
  • Experience in modular construction, timber frame or factory‑based joinery is desirable
  • Strong understanding of construction drawings and specifications
  • High level of craftsmanship with a focus on quality and precision
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable, motivated and committed to maintaining high standards
