Production Junior Football – Glasgow - Freelance
Are you passionate about Scottish football? Would you thrive in a live environment and embrace the pressure that comes with it?
Sky Sports is the home of Scottish football, and with more live games than ever before across the Scottish Premiership and SWPL, we have an opportunity to join our team.
You would work across all our platforms, including social media, our website/app and TV output, plus assist the live team at matches.
We are looking for individuals who have experience of editing, posting content to social media and a passion for Scottish football.

What You’ll Do
- Work with Content teams preparing for upcoming productions & events.
- Using Grabyo to cut live clips from matches and share in an engaging manner on X.
- Edit interviews and publish content on our website/app and social media.
- Log Sports Content for edit and archive purposes. Logging all live SPFL matches and editing goals to be used in programming.
- Basic desktop editing of content to contribute to productions, for linear broadcast, on demand, digital or social media platforms.
- Support studio, gallery, edit, outside broadcast & digital productions in various ways, such as; providing refreshments, assisting with stats, graphics & logs
- Greet & chaperone visitors, guests & talent around the Sky office and OB’s
- Learn, develop & build your knowledge on the various roles and functions required to create and broadcast the best sports content available on UK platforms

What You'll Bring
Essential criteria:
- The candidate must have a strong passion for sport as well as outstanding knowledge of Scottish football.
- The candidate must be flexible and be able to work at times best fitting to the Sky Sports calendar, including early, late, night and weekend work as well as some travel.
- Any experience in social media, editing, television, broadcasting, sport or production is beneficial but not essential
- Strong English language and written skills are required
- A good knowledge of basic IT programmes (Word, Excel, Outlook etc.) and social media platforms are essential.
Desirable Skills
- A full clean driving licence would be beneficial.

Where You’ll Work
Our Scotland Bureau is located in Glasgow City Centre. It is accessible by bus and train. There is also an area to store your bike, plus on-street parking. If working on location, our crews can be based at any Scottish Premiership ground.
