Production Manager - Hospitality Processing Centres

Location: Fakenham Type: Full-time Permanent

In this role, you will work closely with the Production Manager, and other internal teams, to continuously improve site effectiveness, optimise production facility utilisation, develop people, and foster a lean culture.

Your Mission

  • Lead daily operations at Elis' hospitality processing centres, ensuring timely delivery of linens, towels, and uniforms.
  • Manage the production team to meet stringent KPIs, quality metrics, and customer satisfaction targets (under 3% rejects; >98% OTIF).
  • Collaborate with local account managers to ensure high-reliability service delivery.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using LEAN/Six Sigma methodologies, as well as RFID or online stock management tools, to enhance efficiency and hygiene standards.
  • Maintain Health & Safety compliance and ISO-standard operations in a high-volume, customer-critical environment.
  • Adapt and scale resources dynamically to manage urgent demands, including hotels, restaurants, national campaigns, or seasonal surges.

What Makes a Strong Candidate?

To thrive in this role, we’re looking for:

  • Proven production/operational leadership experience, particularly in textile, hospitality, or logistics sectors.
  • Familiarity with LEAN, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement frameworks.
  • A strong communicator and decision-maker, with the ability to coach and develop high-performing teams.
  • An IOSH qualification, solid literacy and numeracy skills, and a keen eye for detail and hygiene standards.
  • Agility and responsiveness, with a go-getter mindset suited to fast-paced operational demands.
  • Degree-educated (or equivalent experience) in relevant fields, with prior experience in performance management and operational KPIs.
