Production Team Supervisor
Key Purpose
Responsible for controlling production and processes and supervising all Packers and Production Operatives, ensuring customer satisfaction through efficient operations.
Hours: Monday - Friday, 07:00 - 17:00 Rate: £13.21 per hour Note: Temp to perm for the right candidate
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead the production line team to meet daily packing targets
- Ensure all packaging operations adhere to company standards and client specifications
- Monitor and optimise production workflow for efficiency and productivity
- Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and procedures
- Train and mentor new team members to ensure operational awareness
- Conduct regular quality checks before product dispatch
- Liaise with production managers on stock levels, materials management, and downtime reduction
- Record and analyse production metrics, identifying areas for improvement
- Troubleshoot operational issues to minimise delays
- Oversee equipment maintenance and report issues to the maintenance team

Requirements
- Supervisory or line leader experience in production or packing environments
- Familiarity with packing procedures and product quality standards
- Strong organisation and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and team leadership abilities
- Understanding of health and safety protocols in manufacturing/packing
- Basic computer skills for production-related reporting and monitoring
