Production Machine Operative

St. Helens, England, North West Permanent (Contract)

Kinetic are recruiting for Production Machine Operatives to join a well-established, expanding manufacturing business in St. Helens specialising in bespoke equipment for telecoms networks. The company thrives on delivering quality, innovation and consistent growth.

This permanent opportunity plays a critical role in the manufacturing process of specialist cabinets, ensuring:

About the Role

Joining a fast-paced production environment, you will ensure that all products are accurately prepared, completed to quality standards, workflow procedures, and customer specifications, before progressing to the next stage of production.

Role Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Understand and adhere to route cards
  • Select appropriate PEM inserts for various tasks
  • Perform manual handling duties safely (including moving materials)
  • Maintain machinery cleanliness, functionality, and upkeep
  • Assist with inventory management and workspace organisation
  • Liaise with the line manager/supervisor – reporting issues and suggesting improvements
  • Strict enforcement of health & safety procedures and compliance standards
  • Safely set pressure levels on Haeger insert machines in line with PEM inserts used

  • Hours: Monday-Thursday: 07:00–15:30, Friday: 07:00–12:30
  • Permanent position
  • Competitive salary dependent on experience (£24,804 - £26,793 per year)
