Production Machine Operative

Kinetic are recruiting Production Machine Operatives on behalf of a well-established and expanding manufacturing business based in St Helens. Part of a successful group specialising in bespoke equipment for telecoms networks, the company has built a strong reputation for quality and innovation and continues to grow year on year. These are excellent permanent opportunities to join a fast-paced production environment, playing a key role in the manufacturing process of specialist cabinets. You will be responsible for ensuring products are prepared and completed to the required quality standards, workflow procedures, and customer specifications before progressing to the next stage of production.
Role Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret engineering drawings
- Understand and follow route cards
- Select the appropriate PEM inserts for different jobs
- Carry out manual handling duties, including moving materials safely
- Keep machinery clean, functional, and well-maintained
- Assist with maintaining inventory and ensuring the work area is clean and organised
- Liaise with the line manager or supervisor, reporting any issues and suggesting improvements
- Adhere to all health & safety procedures and compliance standards
- Safely set pressure levels on the Haeger insert machine in line with the PEM inserts being used

- Monday to Thursday: 7:00am - 3:30pm / Friday: 7:00am - 12:30pm
- Permanent position
- Salary dependent on experience
