Production Manager - Bardney, Lincolnshire

Elevation are delighted to be exclusively partnered with La Boulangère on the appointment of a Production Manager for their brand new UK manufacturing site in Bardney, Lincolnshire.

This is not a Production Manager role where you inherit a team and follow an existing playbook. La Boulangère is opening its first UK site, taking over the former Ryvita plant and building it into a multi-line bakery operation. The first line goes into testing in October 2026 with product to market in 2027, and the Production Manager taking this on will have a genuine hand in shaping how the site runs.

La Boulangère is a French bakery business with a long history of pairing artisanal standards with serious industrial capability, supplying retailers across Europe. Bardney marks their first UK manufacturing footprint, and this Production Manager will be one of the founding leadership team building it from the ground up.

Reporting to the Site General Manager, the Production Manager will take ownership of the BLB1 process line and site warehouse from day one, starting with three teams across pain au chocolat and brioche production. Responsibilities include:

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
