Production Manager
Operations Manager – Manufacturing (Myton Food Group)
Our Operations Managers play a pivotal role in ensuring our manufacturing operations run smoothly. You'll be responsible for delivering high-quality products to customers efficiently, working in a dynamic and ever-changing environment where demand and challenges are continuously evolving.
Reporting into the Site Manager, your duties will include managing a team of Shift Managers, who oversee operators within a team manager structure.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring the Health & Safety of all colleagues while continuously improving standards
- Maintaining a balanced scorecard against KPIs to drive site-level growth
- Maximising profits and driving continuous performance improvement
- Collaborating with existing teams to execute the Continuous Improvement Strategy through employee involvement and engagement

- Recent Production/Operations Manager experience (or equivalent) in a large-scale manufacturing setting, preferably within food production
- A proven track record delivering operational results, with a strong focus on:
- Leading, motivating, and developing teams through performance-driven initiatives
- Taking responsibility for output, reputation, and staff satisfaction
- Experience in leading managers and coaches to deliver operational step-change aligns well with our existing leadership goals
- Practical, hands-on knowledge of Continuous Improvement tools and techniques with the ability to embed their benefits across the business
