We’re looking for an experienced and driven Production Manager to lead major residential developments across the Bedfordshire, Essex and Cambridgeshire region and help shape the future of construction delivery.
The Role
Reporting to the Regional Director, you’ll take overall responsibility for regional production teams, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the exceptional quality standards Hill is known for.
You’ll lead Contracts Managers and site teams across a portfolio of high-value developments, driving performance, managing risk, and creating a culture of excellence from design through to final handover.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading end-to-end project delivery across multiple live sites
- Driving best-in-class health & safety standards across the region
- Ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and right first time
- Managing and mentoring high-performing production teams
- Building strong relationships with clients, consultants, and supply chain partners
- Overseeing programme management, buildability, and value engineering
- Championing quality, sustainability, and Considerate Constructor standards
- Supporting pre-construction activity and future business opportunities

What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience managing large residential construction projects (ÂŁ40m+)
- Strong leadership experience across multiple project teams
- Extensive knowledge of house building, ideally from a house builder or regional developer.
- Excellent understanding of H&S legislation and construction best practice
- Experience working with Local Authorities and Housing Associations
- SMSTS, First Aid & NEBOSH qualified
- ASTA Power Projects experience preferred
- Confident communicator with strong commercial awareness
