Production Manager – Scenic Design and Build

Location: London

Salary: £60,000-75,000pa DOE

We're working with a well-established scenic construction and production company that's looking to bring in an experienced Production Manager to oversee the successful delivery of bespoke scenic builds across live events, exhibitions, theatre and experiential projects.

This is a varied, hands-on role where you'll manage projects from initial client enquiry through to installation and final delivery, working closely with designers, workshop teams, suppliers and clients to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.

If you thrive in a fast-paced production environment and enjoy balancing technical planning, commercial management and client relationships, this could be an excellent opportunity.

The Role

As Production Manager, you'll take ownership of multiple projects simultaneously, coordinating every stage of the production process from site surveys and quotations through to workshop production and installation.

You'll be the key point of contact between clients, technical teams and suppliers, ensuring projects run efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management

  • Manage multiple scenic construction projects from enquiry through to completion.
  • Carry out site surveys to assess access, installation requirements and project feasibility.
  • Produce project programmes and coordinate resources across all stages of delivery.
  • Act as the central point of communication between clients, designers, technical teams, workshop staff and subcontractors.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
