Production Manager – Performance Automotive Manufacturing – Derby – Competitive Salary + Benefits

Location: Derby, UK

Salary: Competitive + Benefits

Job Type: Full Time | Permanent

Company Overview

Milltek Sport is one of the world's leading manufacturers of high performance exhaust systems, supplying premium products for the automotive aftermarket and OEM sectors. With a reputation for engineering excellence, quality craftsmanship and continuous innovation, the company designs and manufactures performance exhaust solutions for some of the world's most recognised vehicle brands from its UK headquarters.

The Opportunity

We're looking for a hands on Production Manager to lead day to day manufacturing operations within a fast paced engineering environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys being on the shop floor, working closely with production teams and driving quality, efficiency and continuous improvement.

This isn't a desk based management role. You'll be actively involved in production, supporting your team, solving problems and ensuring products are manufactured to the highest standards. CAD experience is essential, as you'll work closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to review designs, support production and help improve manufacturing processes.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
