We're working with a well-established pharmaceutical manufacturer to recruit a Production Manager to lead manufacturing operations within a GMP-regulated environment. The Role

As Production Manager, you'll take responsibility for leading manufacturing operations, ensuring production targets are achieved while maintaining the highest levels of quality, safety and GMP compliance.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Leading day-to-day pharmaceutical manufacturing operations within a GMP environment.
  • Managing, coaching and developing a team of approximately 30 employees, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Ensuring all production activities comply with GMP and regulatory requirements.
  • Representing the manufacturing function during customer and regulatory inspections.
  • Planning and coordinating production schedules to meet business and customer requirements.
  • Monitoring KPIs, productivity and performance, implementing continuous improvement initiatives where appropriate.
  • Working cross-functionally with Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain and other departments to drive operational excellence.

About You

To be successful in this position, you'll ideally have:

  • Previous leadership experience within pharmaceutical manufacturing.
  • Experience managing production teams in a GMP-regulated environment.
  • A degree, HND or equivalent qualification in a Life Sciences or related discipline.
  • Strong leadership, communication and people management skills.
  • A proactive approach to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
