Location: Braintree, Essex
Pay: £12.71 per hour (Starting rate)
Hours: Monday – Friday, 08:00 – 17:00
The Opportunity
Our client in Braintree is looking for a Production Operative to join their specialised precision component department.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys focused, hands-on work within a stable and supportive team. While this role starts on a temporary basis, it is a long-term career path—successful candidates will transition to a permanent position following a 12-week probationary period.

Your Role & Responsibilities
Duties
You will be an integral part of the manufacturing process, ensuring every component meets the high standards our client is known for. Your daily duties will include:
Machinery Operation: Operating simple production machinery (full training is provided). Precision Handling: Working with small, intricate parts in a repetitive production environment. Quality Control: Visually inspecting products to ensure they meet strict specifications. Packing & Dispatch: Carefully boxing and preparing finished goods for delivery.

What We’re Looking For
Experience: Previous experience in a production or assembly role is preferred. Dexterity: Comfort working with small parts and performing repetitive tasks with high accuracy. Reliability: A "can-do" attitude and a track record of excellent attendance. Locality: Ideally based in or near Braintree for an easy daily commute.
