Production Operative

Production Operative (Ralliant Corporation – Qualitrol Insurance Solutions Division)


About the Role

A Production Operative will work across various areas of Operations, supporting both project and production workflows as needed. The role is multifaceted, requiring agility in fulfilling business demands while upholding safety and quality standards.

Key Accountabilities

Ensure safety is a priority—personal and teamwide—compliance with health and safety protocols and initiation support for / participation in all safety-led activities.

Core Responsibilities

electrons and safe:

  • Assemble mechanical metalwork and product components
  • Handle preparation and termination of wiring while adhering to electrical schematics interpretation
  • Pack equipment using the most efficient methods
  • Manufacture sub-assemblies, including quality-checking parts prior to integration
  • Work flexibly to deadlines, and:
    • Maintain a tidy workspace
    • Uphold all quality, PPE and workplace wear requirements

  • Other duties as reasonably requested by product or business needs.

Essential Requirements

✔️ Technical and Operational Experience

  • Proven familiarity with electromechanical assembly within a manufacturing/production environment
  • Ability to interpret and work from electrical schematic drawings
  • Knowledge of operating standards, work instructions and QA protocols

✔️ Software and Technical Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with bespoke software/computer systems

✔️ ** Tooling and Safety**

  • Capable safe use of a variety of hand, power and compressed-air tools
  • Dedicated attention to detail + resilience under pressure

✔️ Soft Skills & Adaptability

  • Collaborative team player with high initiative
  • Ability to work independently and cohesively in high-demand, evolving environments
  • Extended period standing typically required for role execution
