Part time Production Operative

We are looking for a Part time Production Operative to join a 4 on 4 off shift at our site in Caistor, North Lincolnshire.

4 on 4 off pattern. 05:30 – 09:00am

About The Role

As a Production Operative you’ll be working in a fast-paced, dynamic FMCG factory environment which is noisy and refrigerated in some areas, manufacturing short shelf life products where hygiene standards are critical.

Key Responsibilities Of a Production Operative Include

  • Loading raw materials onto the production lines.
  • Checking deboned portions for quality.
  • Trimming products by hand if required.
  • Weighing, assembling and packing products ready for despatch.
  • Labelling, checking and grading of products.
  • Manual handling which can include lifting equipment and products up to 20kg

What You’ll Need To Be Successful

  • Good level of English and basic numeracy skills
  • The ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively
  • Good attention to detail and a flexible attitude to tasks
  • Experience within a production/manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.

Due to the working hours and location of site, public transport is unlikely to be suitable, especially at shift start times.
