Production Operative

Production Operative (Electrical & Mechanical Assembly)

About the Role A Production Operative will support both project and flow operations across Ralliant Corporation, delivering flexible expertise in electrical and mechanical assembly tasks to meet dynamic business demands.

Essential Duties

  • Prioritise safety for yourself and your team at all times
  • Comply with all health and safety requirements and support safety initiatives in the workplace
  • Assemble mechanical metalwork and product components
  • Perform wiring preparation and termination, including working from electrical schematic drawings
  • Follow standard work procedures and documented guidelines
  • Pack equipment efficiently using best practices
  • Adhere to adherence to quality standards at all times
  • Contribute to Continuous Improvement initiatives
  • Perform other reasonable duties as directed by the business
  • Assemble sub-assemblies for production lines
  • Conduct pre-use inspections of components and parts
  • Demonstrate flexibility in task allocation within busy production workflows
  • Meet set timeframes and production deadlines
  • Collaborate effectively as part of a high-performance team
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and compliant workspace

  • Fully comply with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and workwear policies

Essential Criteria

Applicants must be able to demonstrate:

  • Proven experience in electrical and mechanical assembly within a manufacturing/production environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience using computerised production/operational systems (ERP, MES, or equivalent)
  • Ability to read and work from electrical schematic drawings
  • Exceptional concentration and attention to detail, even during prolonged periods
  • Capacity to deliver high-quality work under pressure, while adhering to deadlines
  • Practical hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools and air tools
  • Ability to work independently and initiate solutions while supporting team targets
