Job Title: Production Operative
Contract Types Available: 6 months fixed-term contract – until 31/12/26
Location: Join our vibrant team in the heart of our bustling distillery in Wadebridge PL27 7SH, where craftsmanship meets passion.
Job Description:
We are seeking an enthusiastic candidate to join our dynamic and exciting company as a Production Operative as a part of our packaging team. In this role, you will work alongside a skilled team in a fast-paced production environment, contributing to the creation of outstanding spirits. If you have a passion for the industry and a desire to learn and develop new skills, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Perform day-to-day production activities as part of our packaging team for our award-winning spirits according to a designated schedule
- Adhere to quality control guidelines, ensuring consistent production and maintaining high standards.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
- Follow strict adherence to Health & Safety regulations
- Collaborate with the warehouse team for effective raw material handling and stock management.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager.

Requirements:
- Capability to lift weights up to 25kgs and work in various temperature conditions, including wet and dry environments.
- Proper handling of chemicals while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

Working Hours:
- You will be expected to work a 37.5 hour per week
- Monday to Thursday: 8am – 5pm
- Friday: 8am – 12pm
Additional Information:
While we provide comprehensive training, prior knowledge of distilling and reducing spirits, as well as experience in beverage creation and food processing, would be advantageous. Please note that due to the location, you will need to have your own transport.
Remuneration:
The salary for this position is £12.71 per hour.
