- Days: Monday–Thursday, 08:00–16:30
- Friday: 08:00–14:30
About the Role
As a Production Operative, your role is to work alongside the Team Leader and Senior Operators to achieve targeted weekly production goals—safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with specifications.
You’ll ensure adherence to safety standards, perform tasks in line with Product Specifications, and actively report any concerns that could impact the well-being of others.
Key Responsibilities
Core Duties

Safety & Compliance
- Work with the H&S Manager to enhance safety standards across departments.
- Maintain audit-ready hygiene and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) compliance.
- Strictly follow Operating Procedures and safety protocols to protect yourself and others.

Operational Excellence
- Operate machinery according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and team leader instructions.
- Maintain consistent timekeeping and reliability in line with company policy.
- Ensure every product meets quality standards, including:
- Seal integrity
- Product weight accuracy
- Coding validation
- Conduct routine Finished Original Lot (FOL) checks on all products.

Machine & Process Support
- Assist with machine changeovers, minimising downtime and maximising productivity.
- Identify machine, process, or personnel issues and escalate to the Team Leader or Manager immediately.

Quality & Administration
- Report quality-related issues directly to the Quality Control (QC) department.
- Accurately complete departmental documentation, including:
- 30-minute quality sheets
- Reconciliation sheets
- Production schedules
- Adhere to and complete any rework instructions provided by senior personnel.

- Team & Company Representation
- Act as a professional ambassador for the company, both internally and externally.
- Support Team Leaders and Managers in establishing best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
