On July 1, 2025, IPL Plastics merged with Schoeller Allibert to form IPL Schoeller (the ‘company’). The Company’s operations are split across North America (11 manufacturing plants) and Europe (16 manufacturing plants).

The Role
As an integral part of our operations, the post holder will need to work safely and efficiently and have responsibility for operating machines within designated areas of production to enable continuous manufacturing in line with cycle times and ensure that the quality of products aligns to customer specification and demand.

The Production Operative will need to work on their own initiative as well as part of a broader team, with the ability to manage their own time and workload and respond to and prioritise a range of competing demands.
As a Production Operative at IPL you will:
- Assist in the daily operations of the facility, including production and assembly tasks, as well as stacking and wrapping products.
- Work safely at all times, following the company HSE rules, PPE requirements and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Support the movement of materials and products throughout the facility.
- Complete all necessary paperwork correctly and ensure all checks are carried out during the production process.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment by undertaking general housekeeping tasks as required and adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Operate machinery and equipment as required, following all safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Report any quality issues or safety concerns, as well as machinery/equipment malfunctions, to the appropriate escalation point promptly.
- Participate in training sessions and continuous improvement initiatives.

The role is full time rotating between day and night shift on a fortnightly basis. Week 1 - 60 hours, Week 2 - 24 hours.
What You Will Bring to the Role:

- Sound verbal and written communication with English comprehension.
