Production Operative
Job Title: Production Operative
Location: Elmswell, Bury St Edmunds (please note: this site is not accessible via public transport)
Hours: Monday - Thursday, 7am-6pm
Pay: £12.71
About The Role
This role is based within a factory setting. Some areas, including cold storage, may operate at low temperatures, and appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn at all times.
Key Responsibilities
Undertake production tasks as directed by the supervisory team. Operate machinery and equipment, adhering to safety guidelines at all times. Prepare recipes and handle raw meats, ensuring proper hygiene practices. Monitor the production process, ensuring quality standards are met. Assemble and package products, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Maintain a clean and organised work area.

Key Requirements
Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential as training will be provided. Must be comfortable working in a cold environment. Must be comfortable preparing recipes and handling raw meats. Strong attention to detail with the ability to read and understand instructions. Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. A positive attitude and a willingness to learn new skills. Manual handling up to 25kg
