About the Role
A Production Operative will work across various areas of Operations, supporting the project and flow sides of the business according to business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Essential duties—though not exhaustive—include:
- Ensuring their own safety and the safety of colleagues is the top priority;
- Complying with all health and safety requirements and supporting safety-led initiatives;
- Assembling mechanical metalwork and product components;
- Handling wiring preparation and termination;
- Working from electrical schematic drawings;
- Following defined standard work processes;
- Packing equipment as instructed using optimal methods;
- Adhering strictly to quality standards;
- Proactively contributing to Continuous Improvement projects;
- Performing additional reasonable duties as needed by the business;
- Assembling sub-components for production;
- Inspecting parts before they enter production;
- Operating flexibly within a fast-paced environment;
- Meeting deadlines and achieving targets within set timescales;
- Collaborating efficiently as part of a team;
- Maintaining a clean and organised workplace;
- Following all PPE and workwear requirements.

Essential Criteria Applicants must demonstrate the following:
- Experience in electrical and mechanical assembly within a manufacturing/production environment;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience using diverse **computer software systems;
- Ability to work confidently from electrical schematic drawings;
- High levels of attention to detail and ability to focus for extended periods;
- Strong capacity to work under pressure while meeting strict deadlines;
- Relevant experience using a range of hand, power, and air tools
- Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team while taking initiative independently.**
Note: This role may involve standing for prolonged periods.
